The accomplishments of the SHF are due to continued interest and support of various stakeholders and partners who've provided both financial support and technical assistance to the South African social housing sector.
DPLG - Department of Provincial and Local Government

The Ministry and Department of Provincial and Local Government or DPLGs function is to develop national policies and legislation with regard to provinces and local government. The DPLG is also responsible for monitoring and implementing the White Paper on Local Government (1998) and a number of acts pertaining to municipal management.
DTI - The Department of Trade and Industry

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is a gateway organisation that is proactively growing foreign trade with South Africa. The DTI is an outwardly focussed, customer-centric organisation working to a clear vision: to make South Africa a vibrant economy, characterised by growth, employment and equity, built on the full potential of all South African citizens.
SALGA - The South African Local Government Association

The South African Local Government Association (Salga), acts in the interests
of South Africa's 284 municipalities. Salga was formed in accordance with the new South African constitution to transform local governments, progressively bringing
them in alignment with the democratic policies formulated post the 1994 elections.
SERVCON

Servcon is a partnership between the Department of Housing (DOH) and the banks that supports those who are unable to meet their mortgage payments. While the organisation gives a helping had to those who've hit hard times financially, Servcon's goal is to help beneficiaries take responsibility of their financial obligations and make good the agreements brokered by Servcon.
PHPT - The Peoples Housing Partnership Trust

The Peoples Housing Partnership Trust (PHPT) was established by the Department of Housing (DOH) in June 1997 to implement a capacitating programme to support the People's Housing Process (PHP). PHPTs mandate is to build housing capacity by engaging with national, provincial and local governments and civil society to support the PHP.
NHFC - The National Housing Finance Corporation

Targeting the subsidized-housing market and households with a monthly income of R 7 500 or less, the National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC), seeks to create housing opportunities for low-and moderate-income families. It's a development finance institution established by the Department of Housing (DOH) in 1996. Its mandate from the DOH is to mobilise wholesale funds and act as risk manager to leverage private sector capital investment in particular types of low-cost housing.
